MaBeRa is a winery built on the strength and love of our family. It is important for us to give back to the community that was instrumental in helping us not only in our winery but during the most difficult time of our lives.
MaBeRa started our “Wines of Compassion” program in 2014 after the unexpected passing of our oldest son, Viktor.
In order to better benefit our community, we asked the help of our tremendous friends and neighbors. The wines that are created is with the help of those same friends and neighbors who have become family. From picking, crushing and fermenting, the process is a labor of love that has become a passion project for everyone involved.
In building a stronger community it is important that the proceeds donated go towards helping various members of our society. If there is an organization you believe in, please let us know by filling in this form.
It’s hard to believe we are coming up on our two-year anniversary of the first annual FootCrush event with MaBeRa Wines! We had some good friends join us in crushing and hand-pressing our 2015 Zinfandel with the purpose of supporting AFSP, an organization that helps those contemplating suicide and also assists in the healing process of those living with the unfortunate loss of a loved one to suicide. We are now in the process of preparing 300 bottles of this big, full-bodied wine! MaBeRa Wines is honored to be partnering with The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention to create a distinctive wine label and organize the donation process from the sales proceeds.
We are planning to release this very special wine in November 2017. Please read our upcoming Newsletter for more information about the Release Party!
